There are three fully integrated systems which provide fire protection for equipment and staff: fire detection, alarming, and fire suppression.
Fire detection includes a combination of laser, ionization, and photoelectric smoke detectors above and below the floor.
The alarm system provides audible notification of fire conditions with 85dB alarm bells, visual indication with strobe lighting, and electronic notification to surveillance systems and designated telephone numbers.
A two-stage fire suppression system is ready to activate when a fire condition is detected.
The first stage is an FM-200 system which suppresses fires without damaging electronic equipment. The second stage is a water sprinkler system, which will activate if human life is at risk.
