All electrical circuits to the active Data Centre floor are fully conditioned by an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) to deliver power at a uniform voltage with no disruptive line noise.
The Data Centre is serviced by two separate Liebert Series 600 UPS systems, which operate in a load sharing and failover support configuration.
If one UPS needs to be taken out of service for maintenance or repair, the other UPS carries the full power load to ensure that no disruption of service is experienced within customer equipment cabinets.
At the customer cabinet level, individual circuits are distributed among different Power Distribution Units (PDUs) resulting in two separate power grids within the data centre facility for power source diversity.
