IPsec VIRTUAL PRIVATE NETWORK

The Four River IPsec Virtual Private Network product line is comprised of the VPN Policy Maker, VPN Concentrator, and the associated VPN Endpoint Node appliances.

Quiettouch Inc., under our Four River brand offers the IPsec VPN with remote management services, using a built in HP Openview Proxy, within the VPN Endpoint node appliance. This provides in-depth reporting and measurements within our clients’ premises.

In addition, our VPN solution has been optimized by Four River software to pre-encrypt information resulting in a dramatic increase in delivery services across multiple endpoint nodes, whether using point to point, point to multipoint, or PIM Multicast distribution architectures.

VPN Management Station (Security Policy Server)

• Maintains security objects and multilevel domain security policy databases
• Provides configuration management functionality (provisioning) for specific IP-VPN domain
• Policy includes security configuration settings applied to objects (VPN concentrators, VPN End nodes), and groups of objects. Superposition of these policies defines configuration file for security object that can be pushed through distribution mechanism to the specific object. That not only allows you to manage existing nodes, but also performs fast deployment for new security objects

VPN Concentrator

• Central office scalable VPN endpoint capable of accommodating multiple VPN sessions Includes file distribution, and messaging functionality

• Provides firewall protection for Internet access
• Network Address Translation (NAT)
• Traffic prioritization (by type, source, and destination)
• User authentication
• Distribution functionality – Files can be uploaded and distributed with email type mechanism. (provide distribution list name and attach the file)
• Messaging service – forwarding email to the corporate or Internet mail servers

VPN Endpoint Node

• Supports encrypted communications between local office and head office networks
• Provides firewall protection for Internet access
• Performs Intrusion Detection Sensor and Management functions
• Performs Network address translation (NAT)
• Prioritized traffic management
• Authenticates users
• Multicast Delivery Service in Secure IP VPN Environment
• Receives distribution packages and provides access to this information with Windows type shared area from internal network (from trusted interface)
